SoccerNewsz (https://www.soccernewsz.com/) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and contributors to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998.


1. Our Commitment to Copyright

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)

  3. Your Contact Information: Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you.
  4. Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of Accuracy: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

We will review all valid DMCA notices and respond within 3–5 business days. Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the infringing content.


3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that content removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorisation from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to the law to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notification to us.

A valid counter-notification must include ALL of the following:

  1. Identification of the Removed Content: A description of the content that has been removed and the location (URL) where it appeared before it was removed.
  2. Your Contact Information: Your full name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
  3. Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which SoccerNewsz may be found.
  5. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will provide a copy to the original complainant and inform them that the removed content may be restored within 10–14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action.


4. Safe Harbour Statement

SoccerNewsz qualifies for safe harbour protections under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) as a service provider that:

  • Does not have actual knowledge of infringing activity on its platform.
  • Does not receive financial benefit directly attributable to infringing activity.
  • Acts expeditiously to remove or disable access to infringing material upon receiving proper DMCA notification.
  • Maintains a repeat infringer policy.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, SoccerNewsz has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat copyright infringers. Contributors or users who repeatedly infringe third-party copyrights will have their content removed and will be banned from future contributions to the site.


6. False Notices

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. Do not submit a DMCA notice if you are not certain that the material infringes your copyright.


7. Images & Media

SoccerNewsz sources images from licensed stock photo services, press releases, Creative Commons licensed media, and original photography. If you own a photograph or image used on our site without proper authorisation, please contact us immediately and we will remove it promptly.
