SEO Requirements

  • Naturally include your target keyword in the title, first paragraph, and headings.
  • Provide a suggested SEO meta description (150–160 characters).
  • Include at least 2 internal links to relevant SoccerNewsz articles.
  • Include 1–2 external links to authoritative sources (FIFA, UEFA, official club sites).

Accuracy & Sources

  • All facts, statistics, and quotes must be accurate and sourced.
  • Cite sources for statistics (e.g., “According to Opta…” or “Per Transfermarkt data…”).
  • No defamatory statements about players, clubs, or officials.
  • No plagiarism — we use Copyscape and similar tools to verify originality.

Images

  • You may suggest a featured image, but it must be royalty-free or Creative Commons licensed.

All approved contributors will receive a published author bio on their articles. Your bio should include:

Do you pay contributors?

Currently SoccerNewsz is a passion project and we do not offer paid contributions. We offer author exposure, a do-follow backlink, and promotion across our social platforms in exchange for quality content.

Can I republish my article elsewhere after it’s published on SoccerNewsz?

No. We accept only first-time, exclusive content. Articles published on SoccerNewsz must not be republished elsewhere without our written permission.

How long before my article is published?

Typically 5–14 days from approval, depending on our editorial calendar. Time-sensitive articles (match previews, transfer deadline content) are prioritised.

Can I submit multiple articles?
